Incinerating
For cabins, RVs, tiny homes, or any place without sewer or water hookups, the EcoJohn TinyJohn incinerating toilet offers a clean, efficient alternative. It turns waste into sterile ash—no flush water, no septic tanks, and much lower ongoing maintenance.
Built for Efficiency
-
Low Power / Fuel Draw – The gas model runs off propane (or natural gas) plus a 12 VDC battery or AC power for controls and fans. In standby, it draws almost nothing; during a burn cycle it pulls about 1.5 amps at 12VDC.
-
Propane Consumption – TinyJohn’s propane model uses about 0.09 lbs of propane for a urine cycle and 0.19 lbs for a waste cycle.
-
Operating Efficiency vs Standard Toilets – Traditional flush toilets require water, pumps, or septic systems, pulling in higher infrastructure and maintenance costs. The incinerating toilet eliminates all of that: no water pumping, no septic pumping, no daily water treatment.
-
Burn Cycle Times – A typical burn cycle is around 45 minutes for liquid and about 1 hour 15 minutes for solid waste.
